Becoming Her began as a private reckoning; a woman looking at her life honestly and deciding, with full awareness of the cost, to build something true.
It grew into a series.
A documentation of self-determination. Of what it actually looks like to choose ambition when
the world around you has other expectations. Of the career moments that tested everything. Of
the life lessons that arrived without warning and stayed without permission. Of transformation
not the overnight or inspiring kind but the slow, unglamorous, absolutely necessary kind.
Every entry in this series is a chapter of a story still being written. Some chapters are triumphant. Some are tender. Some are the kind of honest that takes months to find the words
for. All of them are real.

Who this is for?

This series is for the woman who is in the middle of transformation.
Not the woman who has arrived. No she does not need this. The woman who is in the messy, uncertain, quietly courageous middle of figuring out who she is outside of who she was told to be. The woman building a career on her own terms. The woman processing ambition and grief at the same time. The woman who has chosen herself and is still learning what that means on the days it costs something.
If that woman sounds like you, welcome. You are in the right place

Why I am documenting this publicly

Because I needed this when I was starting.
I needed to see that transformation is not linear. That the woman you are becoming is built from everything; from the wins and the wounds. That ambition and softness can coexist. That you can be deeply intentional about your life and still not have it all figured out.
I did not find that story told the way I needed it. So I decided to tell it myself.
I am not here to perform vulnerability neither am I here to build a brand on pain. But because the truest service I can offer beyond the strategy documents and the brand guidelines the honest account of a woman in the act of becoming.

What will you find here?

Every entry in the Becoming Her series touches at least one of five threads that run through this journey.

Self-determination

the ongoing practice of choosing yourself, defining your own terms, and
building a life that does not require you to shrink.

Ambition

what it looks like in real time. Not the motivational poster version. The version with self-doubt, with sacrifice, with the specific loneliness of people not yet understanding what you are building.

Career

the decisions, the pivots, the moments of clarity, and the moments of complete
confusion. What building Vic-Norah has taught me about work, worth, and what I am actually here to do.

Life lessons

the ones that arrived through loss, through failure, through unexpected grace, and through the people who stayed and the people who did not.

 Transformation

the thread that ties everything else together. Not as a destination but as a direction. The constant, active work of becoming more fully yourself.
